vMix and OBS with Cloudpresenter
Updated over a week ago

If you have a multi-camera production using vMix or OBS you can broadcast directly into Cloudpresenter, enabling you to deliver high quality television style events to your audience, all in real time.

The set-up is quick with just a few easy steps:

> Start your external output/start broadcasting in vMix, or activate your virtual camera in OBS as shown below.

> Open Chrome and create a new meeting in Cloudpresenter on the same system you are using for vMix/OBS

> Start the Room, Meeting or Webinar

> Once in the Cloudpresenter meeting you will now select the virtual camera to connect your vMix or OBS output to Cloudpresenter

> Select Settings > Video > OBS virtual camera (or vMix virtual camera)

> Your broadcast mix will now appear in Cloudpresenter

Audio settings

There are two options here, dependent on your production set-up.

Audio input option 1

Select your audio interface:

> Settings > Audio > MIc (audio interface or mic name)

Audio input option 2

If you wish to use the embedded audio from vMix or OBS then you will need to download and install this amazing and free virtual cable software https://vb-audio.com/Cable/.

> Once installed, run the software and return to your Cloudpresenter meeting window.

(Note: You may need to restart your browser after the software is installed).

> Settings > Audio > Select 'VB-Cable'

> Now your vMix or OBS production will be live in real time in the meeting, and anyone else can connect, watch, listen and comment!

> Share the meeting link with anyone that wants to join your show!
