[LEGACY] Custom CNAME
Updated over a week ago

Using the custom CNAME feature provides you with complete control over your branding, enabling you to use your own domain name for all your Cloudpresenter meetings. This feature is available on Team and Tier 4 plans.

Note: Currently custom CNAME links are not accessible via mobile, only browser. If your audience may be connecting via mobile then we advise use the default cloudpresenter domain. We will update this page when mobile is also supported.

Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Using your Cloudpresenter admin account log in and go to Branding > Custom Domain.

2. Add the custom domain you wish to use (e.g. events.mycompany.com, or meet.mycompany.com).

3. Got to your domain registrar and in your DNS settings add a CNAME record using this domain/subdomain. Point it to app.cloudpresenter.com and set it to 'DNS only' (not proxied).

Thats it! Your Cloudpresenter account will now be configured with your custom domain using Custom CNAME.

You can now log into your account at https://meet.mycompany.com/users/login

All your meetings and events will be located at https://meet.mycompany.com/live/xxxx

Remember to configure your Custom SMTP settings so all your emails and invites are sent from your own email address.

Note:

Currently meeting invite addresses and registration pages will need to be edited manually and will by default display app.cloudpreenter.com/xxxx until our next update.
