How to setup custom domain in Cloudpresenter
Updated over a week ago

You can make Cloudpresenter even more customized with a custom domain.

In this article we'll cover:

Creating CNAME in your DNS records

  • First, you need to choose a domain or a subdomain that you want your event links to work on.

  • To set up the custom domain, please map your required domain/subdomain name to CNAME hosting.cloudpresenter.com in your DNS setup’s Cpanel.

  • In the image below, we showcased the mapping of the domain using Cloudflare. You can search online for instructions on how to set up a CNAME record with your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger).

Connecting domain with Cloudpresenter

✍️ Note: Complete this step once your custom domain is mapped with Cloudpresenter via CNAME. It may take up to 48 hours for your domain to point to Cloudpresenter. You can verify the mapping using tools such as What's my DNS?

  • Go to go.cloudpresenter.com and log in to your account.

  • Navigate to Settings > Branding > Custom Domain

  • Input your domain, and click "Connect"

✍️Note: If an error occurs during verification, please double-check that the preceding steps have been executed correctly. Otherwise, reach out to your CNAME service provider for assistance.

Securing your URLs with SSL

  • After successfully connecting your domain with Cloudpresenter, we will proceed to add an SSL certificate to secure it.

  • This process may take some time, with a maximum duration of 2 to 4 hours. Continuously check your entered domain name on a new device or in incognito mode of your browser to determine when the SSL setup is complete.

  • Once the setup is successfully completed, it will appear like this.
